“ঘেটুপুত্র কমলা” বাংলা সাহিত্তের বরেন্য লেখক সবার প্রিয় হুমায়ুন আহমদ স্যার এর শেষ বাংলা মুভি । এটি রিলিজ হয় ০৭-০৯-২০১২ ইং । Hereby “GHATUPUTRO KOMOLA” means “The Pleasure Boy Komola”. From the naming we can get some idea about the movie. Here we can see BOY but the name is “KOMOLA”. Actually the movie plot is based on a culture of Bangladesh about 150 years ago. There was a kind of opera team whom did dance with singing. But the dance, song & acting everything were done by males in lieu of female. The aristocracy people arranged personal program. This culture was only in Hobigonj (if I don’t make mistake). When this land area was covered with water, for passing time they arranged those program. In this movie, sexual abuse of child, condition of poor people, the practice of music and poverty has been identified. The story line starts with the entrance of opera team(where the Komola works, male name Jahir original name Mamun) at Jamidar Bari & end with a great sad moment. Opinion: As my own opinion, overall it’s a good movie. Details is not written for watching the movie by yourself. Cause if we don’t watch movie how the producer can take another step to make big budgeted movie. Critics: The jamidar bari is consist of only, Jamidar, wife & daughter of jamidar, four female servant, two male servant, and a Hujur. The Jamidar’s residence should be more colorful. In my rating it’s 4 out of 5. Noted: The remarkable acting of KOMOL and good choreography. It’s absolute my own thinking. Plz don’t take otherwise. Thanks everybody.
