চাপা ক্ষোভে মনটা ব্যথিত হয়ে আছে। এই একটু আগে একটা মুভি শেষ করলাম। The color of olives। ক্ষোভের জন্ম মুভিটা দেখতে দেখতেই।
কোনো রকম সহিংসতা নেই মুভিটিতে তাও যেন ফিলিস্তিনীদের নির্যাতিত, নিজ ভূমি হারানোর বেদনা, লাঞ্ছনা বোধ করি এর চাইতে নির্মম ভাবে ফুটিয়ে তোলা যেতনা। ছবির গল্প একটা ফিলিস্তিনী পরিবারের প্রতিদিনকার নানান কর্মকান্ড ঘিড়ে। যাদের বাড়ির সামনের নিজ ভুমিতেই দখলদার ইসারায়েলীরা জোর করে দেয়াল তুলে দেয়। মৃত্যুর ভয় দেখিয়েও পরিবারটিকে তাদের নিজভূমি থেকে দখলদাররা হটাতে পারে নি। সে পরিবারের মায়ের মুখেই শোনা যাকঃ
One day an Israeli official cam here. He said: "If you insists on staying in your house, i'm going to send one of our informers here who will set fire to a local Jewish settler's house, and i will say you did it. You will be accused of committing the crime, and you'll lose." I told him that we still would not move.
And so he threatened me: "We are going to incarcerate you here, like in a prison. And it will be worse, since in a prison there are guards with whom you can communicate. But here you can shout as loud as you like and nobody will respond. You will die of hunger"
এতো হুমকি দামকি শর্তেও ৬ জনের এই পরিবারটিকে (২ টা শিশু মারা যায়) ইসারায়েলীরা তাদের সমস্ত শক্তি দিয়েও উচ্ছেদ করতে পারেনা।
কারণ? মৃত্যু-ভয়ে তারা ভীত নয়।
