The mother of a two-year-old girl who suffered more than 100 injuries has been found guilty of her manslaughter and jailed for nine years.
Zahbeena Navsarka, 21, was cleared at Bradford Crown Court of the murder of Sanam Navsarka who died with fractures to all her limbs in May last year, but a jury found she was guilty of the child's manslaughter.
Her partner Subhan Anwar, 21, was found guilty of murder following a five week trial and sentenced to life, with a minimum of 23 years.
The defendants, both of Riddings Road, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, were both accused of repeatedly assaulting her over a month-long period.
